Using Positive Intelligence for managing difficult situations

This half-day virtually-facilitated workshop is targeted at postgraduate doctors and dentists in training experiencing increased levels of stress and/or anxiety at key transition points in their career.  The workshop is drawn from the evidence-based neuroscience and positive psychology of effective transformational change developed by Shirzad Chamine and his Positive Intelligence team.  Learning objectives: Learn how to intercept and disrupt unhelpful negative thinking, rumination, procrastination, excessive worry, limiting beliefs. Learn simple and effective strategies that can be used in real time increasing your self-awareness, self-regulation, focused attention and ability to make effective decisions that can have a positive impact on your performance, stress management, and overall wellbeing. Learn how to strengthen existing mental muscles and build new ones and support greater focus, empathy, adaptability, creativity, motivation and taking positive forward action. Have the opportunity to try simple quick techniques that can help increase your mental bandwidth, cognitive load and help future proof your mental & physical health.
